How do I receive an estimate for a flooring installation?
If you live in or around Toronto, we offer an in-home flooring consultation at your convenience! During this consultation, we will showcase our beautiful outdoor flooring tile options and help you choose the best fit for your space. Once the flooring tiles are chosen, we can provide you with a complete estimate for your flooring installation. Schedule a consultation today.
Do you offer instant online estimates?
We do not offer online estimates for balcony flooring installation services because we can only provide an accurate estimate after viewing your outdoor space. However, we are happy to provide pricing estimates via email for our other services.

Where does Skyscapes offer free, in-home flooring consultations?
Skyscapes provides in-home consultations and outdoor flooring installations throughout the Greater Toronto Area. We specialize in outdoor flooring projects for urban condos and businesses in Toronto, but we can provide customized estimates anywhere between Mississauga, Oakville, North York, Vaughn, Woodbridge, Ajax, and Markham.
Where is the Skyscapes office located?
Our Skyscapes team works out of Brampton, Ontario, but we are happy to make an appointment with you to meet in your home or in downtown Toronto at 3 Navy Wharf Court. Book an appointment to discuss your project.
What hours are you open?
We are available any time by phone or email Monday through Friday between 8 AM and 8 PM ET, Saturday and Sunday we are open 8am to 8pm we are open. If you contact us outside of these hours, we will be in contact with you within 2 business hours. We offer in-home consultations and installations every day of the week, with the exception of Sundays, and holiday Mondays.
Can I visit your office during open hours?
We have a warehouse space, but we generally prefer to come and see the space ourselves, show you the products live in your space. Please give us a call or send us an email to book an appointment and we are happy to meet you in your home or at our Toronto office to discuss your outdoor flooring installation needs.
What costs are included in your estimate?
All our estimates include all labour, outdoor flooring materials, and clean up. The information is clearly laid out for full transparency. We guarantee that you won’t find any surprise costs or fees on your invoice; the price you get in your estimate is the price you pay. We cannot wait to show you what we can do!
My balcony has curves and angles. Will you be able to install a new flooring solution for my balcony?
Absolutely! Our balcony flooring solutions can be customized to fit your space. We will design a solution to transform your outdoor space into a sanctuary during our free, in-home consultation, no matter what shape or size your space is.
Is there a minimum size requirement or purchase requirement for a project?
No! Minimum – we’re happy to offer our Skyscapes outdoor flooring tiles in any amount and install flooring solutions of any size. Although to maximize shipping efficiency 360 square feet of our deck tiles fit on a skid, and 200 to 250 square feet of Ipe or Porcelain Pavers.
Can I install your flooring tiles on grass, dirt, or sand?
Unfortunately, no our deck tiles are not suitable on these surfaces. Our modular decking system does not work without a solid floor with a proper slope for drainage. Ideal for installation on concrete, interlock, front porch, condo balconies and to cover up old existing decks.
Where can I see examples of Skyscapes flooring tiles?

Can I purchase your deck tiles and install them myself?
Yes! You are welcome to purchase and install our high-quality outdoor flooring tiles yourself. Can I purchase your deck tiles and install them for a client?
Yes! We happily provide our Skyscape outdoor tiles at wholesale prices for contractors around the world. You can provide a beautiful outdoor space for your clients quickly and easily with our outdoor tiles! How much do your deck tiles cost?
Skyscapes stocks a number of different modular decking products, Composite deck tiles, exotic wood deck tiles, porcelain pavers and Exotic Wood Ipe Pavers. Price per square foot starts at 5 dollars a square foot Please contact us for the wholesale and retail costs associated per tile deck tile.
How long does it take to order your tiles?
Installation generally takes place between 2 and 3 weeks. If you have ordered our tiles, they are generally shipped and arrive within one to two weeks of the initial order depending on your location. We get started as soon as possible following your consultation, meaning you can have your dream deck installed within two weeks of your consultation! Exact shipping timelines will depend on product availability.
Are your products environmentally friendly?
Every outdoor decking squares from Skyscapes is sold with the environment in mind. Our composite tiles are sustainably made using the highest quality chemical compounds with certified sustainably sourced wood components. Offcuts are fully recyclable and used as drainage solutions and planter pots provided to clients for improved water drainage and air circulation.
Our exotic woods pavers are sourced from approved eco-friendly forests in Bolivia. Skyscapes founder and CEO is dedicated to providing environmentally sustainable flooring options and meets will all suppliers in South America to ensure that the wood is selectively harvested and more trees are planted in the place of every harvested tree.

How long does a flooring installation take?
Most installations take just one day! Our speedy installations ensure that you have your dream outdoor space as quickly as possible. From consultation to completion, most projects take one to two weeks, with only one day spent on-site for installation.
Please solidify your installation date as quickly as possible following your in-home consultation for the quickest results.
How do your outdoor flooring tiles stand up to inclement weather?
Skyscapes is a Canadian company, so we understand how tough the weather can be! Our Dura Composite Deck tiles are the only wind tested deck tiles available on the North American Market. The testing proves that our interlocking floor tiles stay connected even on the windiest days. All of our outdoor flooring products are covered by a minimum of a 10-year warranty.
OUTDOOR FLOORING MAINTENANCE QUESTIONS
HOW MUCH MAINTENANCE DOES YOUR FLOORING TILES REQUIRE?
As with any outdoor flooring solution, we recommend cleaning your outdoor flooring tiles occasionally to remove dirt, debris, and weather staining. However, our Skyscapes flooring tiles do not require any additional maintenance and require almost no wear-and-tear maintenance year after year. If you want to retain the striking colors of our exotic wood, we recommend oiling your tiles no more than once a year.
DO YOUR OUTDOOR FLOORING PRODUCTS COME WITH A WARRANTY?
Yes – all of our modular decking products and installations come with a minimum of a 10-year warranty.
Do I have to regularly treat or stain my deck tiles?
At Skyscapes we carry no maintenance Porcelain Pavers as well as high-quality Dura composite deck tiles for those looking for a lay it and leave it solution!
For those who love the look and feel of exotic wood decking, we have a number of varieties of exotic wood to choose from. As part of the installation, we provide an exotic wood oil treatment to preserve the colour and quality of your flooring tiles. Over time, however, your tiles will naturally fade with the sun and weather impacts. While you do not need to treat your outdoor flooring to maintain the tiles’ strength, you may want to treat or stain your balcony or rooftop to maintain the colour of your wood or composite tiles. We offer ongoing maintenance options like wood oiling to maintain the beauty of your outdoor space.
